Binge drinking is a result of Britain's repressive culture
'Britain or the Brits have a very repressive culture and we love binge drinking so much because it is the only socially acceptable way that we can truly express ourselves. So when we go abroad, we take that with us. That's how we express ourselves' - [[jimmythegiant|jimmythegiant]] brits abroad video
A good insight that Jimmythegiant has just said on his YouTube video why everyone hates British tourists.
2.
'When the expat goes abroad say to Europe they say they're looking for a better quality of life, a slower pace, more community etc. Etc. But what they're actually doing is escaping the class system back home.' - [[jimmythegiant|jimmythegiant]] brits abroad video
Are they elevating their class.
I think this kind of links into something else. I heard a long time ago that when it comes to whether you think your conditions your living conditions are any good is what you see around you. You compare yourself to others. So for instance, today we live far better lives than we ever have in history yet people will be unhappy with their standard of living right now, which is curious because it's been better than it's ever been. But what they're unhappy with is the disparity between them and others
So is this expat moving abroad function of that. It's just the class system. They're elevating themselves in the class system so that they don't feel underneath others put on top.
