Appearance

It's gold, with a flat square face, onto which there is a clear stone set in the centre of an engraved 8 point star.

Known history

I remember either Albert Hodgetts or Dorothy Hodgetts telling me that Grandad didn't get a wedding ring at the time of the wedding as they couldn't afford one, so Nana bought him this ring sometime after.

Robert Mark Hodgetts gave it to me on 2025-12-07, at the time saying he could always remember Grandad wearing it, since he was a kid. He gave it to me in a red ring box, which he says is the original. It has an address on the inside of the lid of J.W.Cartwright & Son Ltd.
