## three ways I made progress today
|
|
1. Competed course SAQ a head of time

## what happened today
|
|
|
|
[[me ADHD Medication|adhd meds]] I took another 1.5 does of Elvanse again this morning and had a really productive day.
|
|
### on course work
|
|
|
|
To stay on track with my [[Access to HE Diploma (Medicine)]] I needed to get the SAQ;s done today so that I could be on track to get the next unit before the 22nd (when the [[Distance Learning Centre]] closes for Christmas). I've lost sooo much time on the first two units, they should have taken 22 days to complete if I want to make the summer moderation, I took 75 days! Out of a total of 234 days available, I used a third (32%) of that time on 9% of the total marks.

After the first unit I recognised I needed to plan my time better, so I started tracking time so I could see where it was going wrong. The course is a total of around 600 hours of study, therefore the last unit should have been 25 hours to complete. I spent 64 hours on it! That is redonkulous. I was getting frustrated with the situation. But the latest unit has been an introduction the chemistry, and I've found it really interesting. I've just completed the SAQ section in around 12 hours and have now received the TAQ questions, which I reckon will take another 4-5 hours to complete, that'll be the unit done in 16-17 hours, nearly half the 30 hour estimation. I'm very happy with this. I like this work more, where the answers are black and white, they take some working out, but it's either right or wrong, far more straight forward.

I think they moved in a couple of weeks ago now and I haven't seen them yet, other than the other night when the taxi turned up to take us to up to [[Zoe|Zoe's]] surprise birthday party I spotted the guy, but I think he didn't notice us getting into the taxi, or avoided contact. Erin had gotten them a moving in gift (prosecco and a card) that had bee sitting in the hall for ages, she spotted the guy earlier as gave him the gift. Then later when we were coming back from swimming, I saw the woman, I said 'you alright', she said 'I'm good, are you alright' and I didn't respond to that. I don't know why I do that sometime, pretend I didn't hear.. what's that about?

Anyway, for future reference, their names are [[Anthony neigbour|Anthony]], [[Aimee neighbour|Aimee]] and the young lad is [[Oscar neighbour|Oscar]].
