Channel Tunnel photo and a Fossil | 2026-01-29T18:52:03 | 1990-11-19 |
Some photos form the internet. That's dad down at the front, probably the only one with his helmet still on! The two guy's on the right are Peter Chapman, and Peter Birmingham.
I've seen a number of sources reference these photos as being from the Channel Tunnel Uplink Day, but it can't be, the machine in the photo is >7m in diameter and too large to be the service tunnel TBM.
From doing some research I think the photographer is David Giles
