the teaching of buddha is something to look into
your mind is outside of you
recognise that you are not your mind
it is not reality
it is trying to control you
anxiety, the thought the narrative your mind creates is not real
False procrastination
your mind has already made up it's mind that it's not going to do it
it a fake battle
we're going to pretend to have fight, to struggle
we'll do it tomorrow
The mind knows what it wants and it tricks you into getting what it wants
it's outside of you
you need to train it
Mind is not an organ, it a state/activity
thought come, thought goes
emotions comes, emotion goes
it's a series of activities
You have to learn how to respond to your mind
the mind cannot exist without input, back and forth
neuroplasticity -- you need to confuse your mind to train it (trigger neuroplasticity)
when your mind thinks it knows what's going on it will not change
you need to confuse it to gain neuroplasticity (to train/rewire)
when you argue--procrastinate--you are confused but your mind is not, it knows what it doing, it knows to result it wants/gets

I should be doing my assignment, but it here trying to learn to not procrastinate, but I'm doing the thing that my mind what's me to do (ie end result is no work)
this is the mind doing what it's designed to do
create distance between you and your mind
don't exist within the pipeline of the back and forth narrative with your mind
your mind has it's own goals
it is separate from you
do the actions your mind says are insufficient
be stupid not smart
try to be smart and your mind will talk you out of it
your mind will convince you that we need to do this thing first for it to work
"not enough" is the red flag here that your mind is taking control
how your mind tricks you with boredom
how to train your mind to come to heel
do the thing that is effort without and reward
meditation
mindfulness
watch the mind
quntification of the mind
do the thing, or do nothing
who does the wanting
the mind wants both, to be bored and to not be
the thing that does the judging what's the mind wants knows what's good/bad
