+### On settings for dark/light mode and export png
+
+-Always create a [[png|png]] of the Excalidraw file (so it's platform agnostic) but embed Excalidraw format into [[Obsidian]] notes (for best useability and compatibility)
+
+- Settings > Export Setting > Image theme and background colour
+	- Export image with background = Yes
+	- Export image with theme = No
+	- Excalidraw preview to match Obsidian theme = Yes
+- Settings > Export Setting > Auto-export settings
+	- Keep the svg and png filenames in synced with the drawing = Yes
+	- Auto-export svg = Yes
+	- Auto-export png = Yes
+	- Export both dark and light themes = No
+- For the drawing template
